Rally for Sanity
On Saturday our curiosity got the best of us and we ventured downtown to check out the "Rally to Restore Sanity." It turned out to be surprisingly packed but lots of fun. Now Paije has officially participated in her first rally. She and Ben held a sign that said, "I want more chocolate ice cream." For more information check out: http://www.rallytorestoresanity.com/
Some of our favorite signs included,
"Anyone up for scrabble later."
"I don't usually make signs."
"Vote for Pedro."
"Legalize Cannibalism."
"This is my first sign."
"My political views are too mature and sophisticated to be summarized on one poster."
"My wife thinks I'm hiking the Appalachian trail."
"I can see Virginia from my house."
"I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it."
"Repeal the third amendment." (held by a man in a soldier costume)

Happy Birthday Paije
On Thursday Paije turned one! I cannot believe how quickly this year has past. It seems like just a few months ago that I was pregnant with her!
When Jocelyn got to our house the morning of Paije's birthday she had her arms full of gifts. Have I mentioned that I love her (Jocelyn I mean)! She has seriously been such an amazing blessing to our family and to Paije these past six months. We will be sad to see her go back to a "real" job in January. Paije loved her gifts and was truly spoiled!
