20 Weeks

Lawrence of Arabia

Ben's dad (Lawrence of Arabia) stayed with us last weekend for a few nights before heading back to Abu Dhaubi. It was so much fun to have him stay with us. We got to hear more about the experiences that they are having on the other side of the world. When it was time for him to go I think both Ben and I wanted to hide in his suitcase and go back with him.

The night before he left we went on this beautiful hiking along Lake Ontario.
We couldn't of asked for better weather...it was beautiful.

2 Year Anniversary

Ben and I were thrilled to celebrate our two year anniversary last week, even though it kinda snuck up on us. So much so that the night before we didn't even have any plans for how to celebrate. On a whim we called around to a few bed and breakfasts to see if anyone would offer us a last minute screaming deal.....and of course someone did! We ended up staying in an adorable town on Skaneatles Lake in and even more adorable bed and breakfast.

Standing out front.

We dinned in that night. Way more fun than eating out!

Too bad it was about 90 degress outside...way too hot for a cozy fire.

Cool old boat on the lake.

Enjoying the sun runs on the lake.

Happy 1st Sorta Mothers Day!

Check out the breakfast (in bed) Ben made for me on my first sorta mothers day! I've been trying to teach Ben about the importance of presentation when preparing and serving food. Looks like those comments paid off.

Visitors

Since we don't get visitors too often, Ben and I were very excited when my brother and my 8 months pregnant sister-in law, along with their two adorable kids, came to see us last month. In spite of a run in with a deadly snapping turtle...I think they had a good time.

Is it Over Yet?

Graduation from law school finally arrived last Sunday at 2:00 in the afternoon. I think I might have been looking forward to graduation more than Ben!

Here are some pictures for those of you who weren't able to make it.

Open Letter

Dear Person Who Stole My Bike:

I forgive you. Even though it was a huge hassle because I was on my way out the door to take a HUGE law final. Yeah, I did still make it to the test on time, but only because I called my wife at work and had her drive home, pick me up, and then drive me to school. Like I said, I forgive you. I will still break your knees if I find you, though. And then I will take my bike back. And then I will call an ambulance for you, because I forgive you.

I hope you have been enjoying my bike. Sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you that the gears are all screwed up. Maybe it will trip you up and you will fall and break some bones. That won't stop me from breaking your knees, though. And it would slow you down a bit and make it easier for me to track you down.

Anyway, take care, and be grateful that I decided to forgive you. Forgiving you has also helped me not be mad at you any more. I hope you have good health insurance.

Your forgiving friend,

Ben
