The Newest Member of our Family!

His name is Ben the Syracuse University cheerleader.
(thats his cute girlfriend Bonnie with him)

Yes, its true.

As of January 9th Ben is officially a full-time, girl throwing, cheer yelling,
muscle building, good looking cheerleader.

Just check out these live pictures below from last nights game.

If you want even more proof you can watch him on ESPN on basketball game nights. Syracuse University actually has a highly ranked basketball team which means we will now be spending spring break at Madison Square Gardens during the College Basketball Big East Tournament. How exciting!

Some of you many be wondering how his wife feels about this move. Ben has reassured her that the other cheerleaders don't hold a candle to her. How sweet. Actually we are both really excited about this fun opportunity Ben has to do something that has been his dream all through college.

Plus, what better time than during law school. Right?

Fun from Summer 07

I was looking back through these pictures from this summer and I thought it would be fun to post a few of them. Check out Ben's lovely facial laceration from our honeymoon. He still has the scare on his forehead in fact.

The jeep looked "cool" but boy was it hot in there with no air-conditioning!
Ben turned himself into a sunscreen monster.....my mother would be so proud.
Sadly he still got totally burnt :(

A friend from Seattle took us sailing near Buffalo. Sweet hats huh.

Merry Christmas

For New Year's Eve this year we got invited by some friends to watch the sonics game from a $5,000 per night suite. It was lots of fun. This picture was taken the one time during the evening that Ben put down the book he was reading...Yes, he sat and read a book during the entire game.

For Christmas this year we had a major gingerbread house building contest. Ben and I designed a gingerbread castle. It was pretty cool and even had a mote with real water.

Happy Thanksgiving

This year for thanksgiving we rented a house on Seneca Lake with four other families from the ward. All 16 of us (including 6 little boys) had a great time. I even made my first pie ever!

Happy 27th Birthday Ben

This year for Ben's birthday I decided to throw him a pirate party 'cuase Ben loves pirates! I even made him the most amazing pirate ship and treasure island cake.

Naturally when Ben went to lite the candles he decided to lite the entire cake (sails) on fire too. It made for a great blaze which the kids loved!

After a fun birthday party with friends we rented this cute little house on one of the finger lakes.
The house had the most amazing view and a cool little row boat that Ben tried out. If I hadn't of stopped him I think he would of paddled across the lake.
