Niagara Falls

Our last day with Ben's family we stopped at the Niagara Falls. Every time I visit them I am amazed at their size and strength. It seems like you could just stand there and watch the river flow over the falls for hours. It truly is an awesome experience everytime we go.

Owasco Lake House

Ben and I thought it would be fun to take the Pearce's to the finger lakes while they were visiting. We decided to rent a house on Owasco lake that was equip with kayaks, canoes, and a huge hammock. The day we arrived the water was still and the sky was perfectly clear. We had a great time and the day we left Ben even caught a fish!

Sand Castles and Seaweed

Last week Ben's sister, Amelia, and her family came to visit us. We had the most wonderful time with them. On Labor Day we all crammed into our car and drove to Green Lakes. Green Lakes is one of my favorite places in Syracuse. The water is the most beautiful green color and looks like something out of National Geographic magazine. We spent the day roasting hot dogs, swimming, building sandcastles, and playing with kids. It was a perfect way to spend the last day of summer.

Leaving Utah

Ben and I have been back in New York for a few weeks now. Although it was sad to leave beautiful Midway, I was anxious to be done chasing kids around. I never thought I would say it, but there definitely are perks to boring desk jobs. For example, you usually don't have to clean up vomit, wipe poppy bottoms, or protect against foot fungus.

In spite of my readiness to complete my career as a camp counselor I did have fun my last day of work. We went to this place called "bouncing off the walls." Check out the pics below.
