On Saturday we took a train to Ghent, a city about 30 minutes East of Brussels. During the middle ages Ghent was one of the largest cities in Northern Europe, second only to Paris. We did a walking tour of the city with some friends from the ward.
Belgium has these crepe shops all over the city. They are so yummy!
At the end of the walk we toured a castle that was built around 1100 A.D.
