I can honestly say that being a mom is a lot more fun than I expected. Perhaps that is because Paije is such a good baby or maybe because we get to hang out together in this cool city. Either way I am in heaven every day regardless of what we do.
We try and meet Ben for lunch at work everyday. The main difficulty is that is soooo cold outside that it can get difficult finding warm places to change and feed Paije. Consequently, most of our outings last just a few hours and not too far from our apartment.
On Monday we walked across the street from Ben's office to look at the Brussels palace. Evidently you can go inside for free. Perhaps we'll try and do that next week.
This morning Paije and I braved the cold (it had to be in the teens) to check out a flea market we'd heard about. It was awesome!!!! It was a mix between antique road show and the markets I saw in Africa. I want to go back every week to see what new treasures I can find.

Are those scratches on her face?? Sox on her hands will help that, in case we didn't get her any mittens. She looks like you when you hold her and she looks like Ben when he holds her. Perfect!!
I am loving reading this blog. Loving seeing and hearing about your adventures, loving how enthusiastic you are about being a Mom, and loving seeing how natural you are at it!! I miss you and wish you were here, though... :(
