End of the Summer Fun

These last few weeks of the summer have been filled with baseball games and apple picking. Paije is getting more and more outgoing every day. We can hardly keep up with her.

The apple crop wasn't very good this year because its been so hot. This summer was actually the hottest summer in D.C. on record. Yikes. Paije loves to ride on our shoulders.

Camping Finally

Ahhhh...is this not the cutest face you've ever seen!!!!! Some days I seriously can't stop kissing her!

I love to go camping and so does Ben as long as I do most of the planning and packing. This weekend we went to some mountains along the Appalachian trail. It was a beautiful weekend and we had a great time. On our way out of town we stopped at a flea market and bought a great hiking pack for carrying Paije. It was awesome and Paije loved being carried around in it...most of the time. One night we did an evening hike while the sun was setting. The next day we hiked to the highest point in the national park. The view was great. Everyone was impressed to see such a young cute hiker on board with us.

Philly and Phood

This weekend we got to hang out with my sister Karrie in Philadelphia while she was on a business trip. Oh my gosh we ate so much good food. I love Philly!

A Busy Month!

This month I had to go to Chicago for a work conference and my mom was gracious enough to come along for the fun. I was happy to be able to bring Paije along and I think my mom was happy to get a trip to Chicago. The two of them had a great time playing in the city everyday while I was busy at work. In the evenings we got to hang out. Chicago is such an amazing city..one of the coolest I've ever visited. I hope we get to visit again soon.
