Ben and his co-worker came and picked us up at the airport. We spent the rest of the day getting unpacked and napping. We only have a twin bed for the three of us. Needless to say it's going to be a bit crowded at night for the next 3 months.
For dinner that night Ben introduced me to Kebabs. I wasn't that impressed but perhaps that's because I'm not crazy about lamb meat.
The next morning Paije and I went on our first adventure. I got her all dressed up for our first outing. Thank goodness for grandma's and aunts. Grandma Karen gave her that cute sweater and her Aunt Lauren knitted her that adorable beanie.
The first interesting thing we passed was a Godiva chocolate outlet. Yum....but expensive!
We walked to this cool looking basilica. Its about 1/2 mile from our apartment and is huge!!!
Paije is a great ravel companion already. She didn't even make a peep during our entire walk inspite of the fact that it was pouring rain and cold out. She just slept like a little baby kangaroo right up against me.
On our way home I spotted this yummy looking bakery/chocolate shop. Turns out these are all over the place. So much for getting back into shape after having a baby. I think I am in about the worse place possible to be on a diet.
The long day ended with a warm bath in our bathroom sink.

Yes!! Pictures!! Thanks. It looks like a beautiful place to be and fun shops. You did bring the travel bed, right? Maybe you should sleep in shifts :) I can't believe how fast she's changing. The bunting did turn out to be just the right size. Lucky me. xoxoxo
You made it! Enjoy that single bed for 3 months... I wonder if one of you will end up sleeping on the floor!
You are so lucky... what a great experience! Have a fun time!
